The Peacespark foundation organized a Drawing competition on Teachers day. 5th September is observed as Teachers’ Day in India. The day marks the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He was the first Vice President and the second President of India. Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan is remembered as one of the greatest Indian Philosophers and Statesman. On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Peacespark foundation honoured the contributions of Dr. Radhakrishnan and celebraeted the good work of teachers across the world, by organizing a drawing competition.
The competition was open to school children under the age of 15 and several students took part in the competition. Children of all ages participated in the competition with vigor, and it was interesting to see their creativity in action as they honoured their teachers. The foundation aims to recreate this magic by organizing more events like these to inculcate the spirit of peace and harmony amongst children.
